bluray
Yes.
But you do not need a blu-ray standalone player to watch these here movies.

You are correct “IF” you go out and buy a “Bluray” disk at a retail store. However; if you download a “Bluray” movie here or anywhere else you can convert it to play on your computer or burn it to a “standard” DVD to be played on a “standard” DVD Player in your home.
Program to convert “Bluray” to standard “DVD” you can get for free in just about any torrent site ( I even think I saw a copy here) is called “CovertX to DVD”.
FYI: Of course when you down sample a Bluray to a standard DVD you will not get the “High Definition” a Bluray has to offer or audio source however it is still very good.
Hope this helps!

All you really need to play the files you obtain here and similar others, is a device similar to this (and an external hardrive):

I personally own one. This version isn’t the best, but it probably is the cheapest that can take dts sound.
In the files bluray that you download it have one file in “rar” double click on it. Then it will extract the file to mkv which you can play on your computer with any proglam player.

forgive me for asking this but just to make sure bluray divds can only play in bluray players correct?
