I was hoping to pick the brains of you gentlemen with what might be a stupid question. I’m trying to play video’s from my PC through my Xbox 360 using TVersity. Unfortunately some of my HD movies are in the .mp4 format. Is there a program I can use to convert it to an .mkv file without losing any quality? I’ve seen a few programs, like Direct MKV, but was wondering what the opinion is from the community on the best program. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and thanks for taking the time to respond!

Hi, I have a question regarding DVD capacity, the DVD’s I use are 4.7GB in size, (standard size I think) anyway if I want to D/L a blu ray movie for instance & the size of the movie is lets say 6.6GB, obviously it’s not going to all fit onto 1 disk .. or .. is there a way to make it all fit onto 1 disk.
I’m currently using Windows 7 & I use windows media player to do my burning, I’ve just D/L’d Nero 7 however I’ve not used it yet.
Any assistance / help is greatly appreciated.

Cheers .. B.C.

If you want to stick it on a DVD, just use a DVD9.

I’m pretty sure Orb will do that for you. I’ve never used TVersity but I would look into Orb.com. Basically, from what I understand, Orb converts videos on the fly as it streams them. I’m pretty sure that mkv is supported but you are probably going to lose image quality. But it might be worth a shot if you have a fast connection between the PC and the Xbox.
